Experiencing Taiwan

Taiwan travel can be a little crowded/long/difficult/stressful/tiring/overwhelming/smelly at times. Then add a couple feet of rain and we get a perfect vacation. I've realized a "vacation" to Taiwan does not equal relaxing; on the contrary it is probably not relaxing at all, but I would dare say it is interesting, exciting, adventuresome, and maybe even a little bit amazing.

Despite the non-stop rain during the entire week of Chinese New Year (and most of Charise and Greg's visit), we managed to have a little bit of fun...

Taipei 101

Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall

Dim Sum

National Revolutionary Martyrs' Shrine

Shih Lin Night Market

Beitou Hot Springs

Chinese New Year lion dance

Taipei, Taiwan LDS Temple

Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall

Yangmingshan National Park

The Red House

Longshan Temple

Keelung

Fine Arts Museum

Puppetry Art Center

Grand Hotel

Charise and Greg were the BEST travel companions--they loved the food, loved the adventure, and didn't complain when things didn't go exactly as planned... we sure loved having them!!

You could have all this and more if you come visit me! Just throwing that one out there.
