Daddy Daughter Date

Just want to give a little shout out to my amazing husband. He did such a great job taking care of our little one while I was in Hong Kong. Although we may or may not be able to make fun of the way he did her hair. For the record, he did try to get those teeny little rubber bands in her hair, but just couldn't manage!!

During their weekend together, Cody took Jadyn on a hike, which he reported she walked most of the way and then zonked out in the pack the last few steps.

They went to the zoo, where Jade was content to run around and climb the stairs. Apparently the long trek to see the animals wasn't necessary. Surprisingly, she would have been just as happy in practically any open space and didn't need the monkeys or elephants!

That night they had a pizza and movie night with our good friends, the Jensen's (apparently Nathan stepped up as substitute spouse; making Cody dinner, giving him rides, "everything short of tucking me in at night," as Cody put it), and the next day they went to the park! What an eventful weekend! I'm so grateful for a wonderful man in my life who is so hard working and so loving. He takes really good care of his girls. He is such a great daddy and husband!!!
