This is just a quick heads up to let everyone know we move in t-minus 12 hours. Once we get to our new place, we're not sure if we'll have Internet...no wait...we will have Internet, we just don't know if we'll be able to connect. We've been told the Internet will be hooked up, but our modem and router are still on a boat somewhere between Hawaii and Taiwan. I'm not sure if the landlord is providing a modem or router, so we may have to wait until our stuff gets here before we can get back on the grid. Our stuffs ETA is still Dec 4, but that's just to get to the island. Who knows how long it will take to clear customs and make the 60 mile journey from the harbor to our new place. If our luck keeps up, we probably won't see our stuff until.... March...
Anyway, when we do get reconnected to the brave new world, remind us to tell you about the nightmare we've had this week. If it hadn't happened to us, it would have been a really funny story. It gets to a point where nothing else can go wrong; you know you'll look back and laugh at this one day....one day....
Luke, you'll be happy to know I can still ma people out in Chinese with the best of 'em. (Yes, that's Chinglish, I know, I know. My English gets worse by the day.) Just ask the sales lady at Lea Lea who sold us a black couch, then sent us a green couch and claimed we had ordered a green couch all along. Let's just say everyone in my office got to hear one side of a very loud, heated...er...conversation. (Actually, now that I think about it, it was 2 or 3 exchanges, hehe) Needless to say, we are having a new, black couch sent to us tomorrow. Here is the green beauty--taken on Nicole's phone (and yes that is sitting in our new apartment--please notice how dirty it was...three hours AFTER we should have had handover).
Oh, one last thing, quick shout-out to my "BFF" Collin whose b-day is on the 25th. No, I did not remember it! No guy should remember another guy's b-day, Nicole just reminded me. Luke, I only remember yours because you share it with Nicole. BFD, I know yours is in Sept sometime, and Dave.... I think yours is in....?? Sam... Sam... Sam... yeah... I'm drawing blanks. And to all my other guy friends who will never read this but their wives will tell them about it, don't worry, I don't remember your birthday either. See Amy, no guy should remember another guy's b-day.
Anyway, I planned on writing like two sentences, and now this has turned into a full blown post with no good pictures. Lame. Sorry about this.

Keep on posting, Cody! So few guys do, it's nice to change things up a little. :) Good luck with the move and... well, whatever other adventures come your way to finish off the week. Catch you on the flip side!
Wow I can't believe Jadyn is a model already! I can't wait to see the photos! I'm so glad you got tickets to fly home!! What day's will you be here? I hope you can find the internet somewhere soon cuz we wanna plan a get together while you're here!! I know you'll be busy so I thought we could get everyone together in one day to see you guys. Let me know!!
