Rules: List 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 obsessions, 3 surprising facts and 3 people to tag.
3 Joys:
-When Jadyn wakes up from her nap and I unwrap her from her blanket. She does this cute stretch and is usually very happy. She gives me a big grin and I can't help but smile and love her even more deeply.
-When I hear a muffled "Honey!" from the dining table and turn around to see Cody with Jadyn in his arms and a stream of spit up from his nose, down his pursed lips, to his chin. Of course it is all over his shirt and Jadyn's face and clothes too. Oh, I couldn't help but burst into uncontrollable laughter! Especially seeing Cody's face in such excruciating discomfort. I so badly wanted to capture the moment forever, but thought it would be too cruel to make Cody wait while I grab the camera. So, you get this cute one instead.

-Creating new recipes that end up tasting good. Although cooking here has been a challenge, it has been fun to see how resourceful I can be with the minimal amount of ingredients, spices, and cookware I have to work with. I think I can count on one hand the number of times I've used a recipe since moving here. Here is my latest favorite: Chicken Roti Paratha (You fold up the sides of the flat bread and eat it like a taco.)

3 Fears:
-Jadyn getting sick. I don't know what to do if this happens.
-Jadyn moving on to the next baby stage which includes teething, eating solids, and who knows what else (I obviously don't). I don't know what to do when this happens and my baby mentor is so far away now. Thank goodness for baby books; I just hope I can read them fast enough!
-Going somewhere in Hong Kong on my own and not being able to find my way back home. But don't worry people, Cody told me all I have to do is find a taxi and give the driver my key card to the hotel because it has the hotel address in Chinese on it.
3 Obsessions:
-Ice cream. I even had a dream about going to an ice cream parlor and picking out my flavors the other night. What?!? Again, don't worry, because Haagen-Dazs is all over here and we can buy it and Dreyer's at the grocery store. It is just a lot more expensive. I think it is about US$5 for a quarter gallon of Dreyer's (which is less expensive than Haagen-Dazs). But that won't stop me. Just name your price, Dreyer's, name your price. They also have these things. Delicious.

-Taking lots and lots of pictures of my cute little girl. As evidenced here.
-Keeping my fingernails long and al natural and my toenails trimmed and painted. We girls in my family HATE feet (maybe that should be one of my "fears")! I think it is mostly because we all have ugly feet, so it is a must that they stay painted to make them as presentable as possible (I won't scare you with a picture... oh, wait, Cody already did. Thanks, hon. Thanks.).
3 Surprising Facts:
-I have never had a cavity. I was starting to get one when I was little, but it was in a baby tooth, so the dentist left it to just fall out. No problems since.
-I have never been to the Utah State Fair. I just realized this on Sunday when I was talking to my sister, Charise, about her trip to the fair. One day, I guess... one day... Cody said this is just evidence of how boring our lives were before we moved here.
-I have been solicited by a woman I have never met to do some accounting work in Hong Kong, but I decided I would rather stay home with my baby and not worry about it.
