Cavin's House

The weekend before Cody left for Hong Kong, my family went up to Strawberry Reservoir and stayed in our friend's cabin. This was Jadyn's first camp out! If you can call it a camp out. We slept on beds, baked in an oven, and didn't get all that dirty (until I made the mistake of playing horseshoes in flip flops). I don't really consider that camping, but we were in the mountains and we did go on a little hike.

We told my little three-year old niece we were going to a cabin, but she thought we were going to Cavin's. So when we got there, she asked where Cavin was; even though we tried to help her understand by saying "it's cabin, with a b-b-b- B, like boy" and explaining it is a cabin, like a house, she proceeded to call it Cavin's house and we let her be.
