Boarding the Ark

Ridge and I had the enjoyment of tagging along Jade’s school field trip to Noah’s Ark. 

 

Each student had to be accompanied by an adult.  This was a treat for me because I got to hang out with Jade’s friends’ moms as well.  I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know several of them through play dates, school activities, and parties, and I really enjoy them.  They are a wonderful group of women. 

Noah’s Ark has an interactive children’s area where the school spent the morning, allowing the kids to explore. 

    

Of course, we palled around with Liam and Luvella, Jade’s best buds at school.

 

Later a little animation workshop was put on for the class. 

The timing was great because Ridge napped through the whole thing.

 

The kids learned about different types of animation then created a little craft. 

 

 

After the workshop, it was time for lunch at the park across the street. 

 

Then we had a little bit of time to walk around the grounds.

 

Just before heading back on the bus, we met up for a group picture with all the parents and children.

Throughout the day Jade tagged along with her teacher, Ms.Theresa.  Can you say teacher’s pet?  I thought it was so cute Jade wanted to hold her hand and be by her even though I was there (part of it may have been my hands were occupied with the stroller, but still…).  It makes me so happy that she likes her teachers and going to school. 

  

 

Liam, Luvella, and Jade were probably the only kids that didn’t sleep on the bus ride back to school.  And they were loud enough to make sure everyone knew it! 

Liam was excited to help with Ridge once we were off the bus.  Such cute kids!  Such a fun day!!!
