Sightseeing with the Rowlands

While Cody’s parents were here, we did a bit of sightseeing.  I actually opted out for a couple of the outings, because I didn’t want Ridge out all day, everyday.  This might be a first for me to blog about something I wasn’t there for (Cody is super busy with work, so he doesn’t have time--bummer, because I for one love his posts).  Therefore this may be a bit short and to the point.  Sorry I won't do the trips justice, but hopefully the pictures will do the talking!

Okay, now I’m back in on the adventures.  A trip to the Peak, and our traditional dinner at Bubba Gump's.  I’ve never eaten anywhere else up there!

Macau.  We did this little trip at about the same time last year and you think we would have learned.  Customs is NUTS in Macau at that time! Luckily, once you get through, the rest of the city/country/SAR (whatever you want to call it) is fine.

Mmmmm… my favorite Portuguese delicacy (because I’ve tried SO many--ha!):  egg tarts.

The peace sign was all her, I swear.

Not sure what this fort was called; I didn’t go up.  I was busy feeding Ridge and trying to not get too annoyed at old Chinese ladies that kept getting in our face while doing so.  The fort looks cool though.

One of the events (second to Ridge’s blessing, right, Paul, right?) my father-in-law wanted to be in Hong Kong for was the New Year’s Eve fireworks.  Cody and I stayed home with the kids and sent his parents off for their last adventure before they headed home the next day.  I must say I am quite proud of them for fighting the crowds and going for it.  These are my kind of people!!

Like I said, we weren’t there, but this little video is a treasure.  Just watch and you will see why this is so adorable to me!  Don't I have the cutest in-laws?! The fireworks aren't bad either.

I can't believe how tiny you are in all of these photos! Especially after just giving birth! Do you not gain any weight while pregnant?! You look great!
