My sweet baby boy, Ridge Cody Rowland, was given his name and blessing on Christmas day, December 25, 2011. I love this boy so much! He is a delightful addition to our family and he makes me smile many, many times everyday. I am so grateful he is ours.
We were so fortunate to have two very important people with us for Ridge’s special day: Cody’s wonderful parents, Paul and Christy.
To have a couple family members in attendance made the day that much more meaningful. With Cody’s dad in the circle and his mom by my side, my heart was extra full.
Ridge was blessed in the same gorgeous blue blanket that Cody was blessed in when he was a baby. 
The blanket is even more significant because it was originally made for Cody by his Grandma Patsy, who passed away in a car accident along with Cody’s grandpa and aunt, about a month before Cody was born. I was thrilled to have the privilege of our boy honoring her in this special way. I like to think of the below picture representing four generations with the blanket being symbolic of her. Such a beautiful picture.
Cody, of course, gave Ridge a beautiful blessing that made us all cry. What a perfect and memorable way to start off our Christmas day! Ridge is one special boy, and I am one lucky gal to be his mama. Oh, how I love these two handsome gentlemen!!
