Jadyn is sleeping on a hide-a-bed in the living room, so after 8:30 each night, Cody and I are annexed to the bedroom with no internet and a meager selection of T.V. channels. We only have a shelf full of toys and books for Jade, so we've been bored of those for a couple weeks now. At least part of each day is spent at a park, mall, swimming, running errands, meeting up with friends, and/or doing chores .
[Getting Jadyn ready to go swimming; this is the dresser we use to change Jade's diaper on; look how much she has grown!]

[Her first time swimming; swimming in the exact same pool two years later.]

We definitely spend our fair share of time out of the apartment, but inevitably we still have plenty of at "home" time to be sick of it. Especially with impending rain and typhoon days happening more frequently than we prefer! We've managed to only get stuck in a down pour once so far, so I think we're doing pretty good.
I've come up with a few extra ways to entertain the little one, but it's a tiring task to always be the entertainer. She also invented a few games of her own, one being a new way to play dress-up.
She does not seem to stop moving or talking when we are in or out of the apartment. This can make for a short tempered mama more often than any of us like. Especially when we are walking down the busy street with heavy bags of laundry or groceries and she insists on wriggling her hand out of mine to run off and touch every fire hydrant or cross walk button we see. Once when someone told me she was cute, the real estate agent was quick to make the comment, "She is active. Very active." The mix of this age of trying to test boundaries/establish independence and the unsafe outdoors/restricted indoors is not a very good one for either mother or child. Please pray we both survive until Nov. 5th.

I can think of something else you and Cody could do after your banished to your bedroom :) What? I was gonna say cards, you could play cards!
Hang in there girlie!!! Just think, after you move it's only 2 weeks till we'll be hanging out again! Yay!
You'll make it! Use your creative powers and make a count down chain. Probably involve chocolate in it. :) Have you ever thought of giving Jadyn your bedroom for a few nights so that she's closed in and you have more room to roam? You can make it Nicole! Keep breathing and call me if you need to vent.
Oh man! She is so cute and so big, but good luck with such a small place!
