The pediatrician back in Phoenix told us Jadyn would be old enough to swim in August. Well, as we all know, it has been August for almost a month now and we weren't able to take her for a dip until last night. Among other obstacles, we had a hard time finding a swim suit without some type of cartoon character on it. Hello Kitty seems to be an especially popular screen print for girls of all ages (as if we didn't already know that; it just turns out to be true). We finally found some time to go try out our hotel pool and the below video is the result.
As you can probably tell, we are two people that don't really know what to do when you take a baby swimming; nevertheless, overall I think it went pretty good.

She's so dang cute (I think I mention this every time I come here), looks like she had fun! Were her legs kicking in the water?....I thought they were, but couldn't really tell.
I have to say though she is looking like a lemon little lady for sure. I loved her swimming suit, I'm surprised you guys found one without hello kitty on it!!

Dang she is cute. I love her kicking her chubby little legs under the water. That's the best! I can't believe she loved it so much her very first time. David's first time he cried so hard...he was so scared! Looks like she's a natural! And she has tons of hair. What a pretty girl.
Soooo...it's the weekend! Our internet has been sketchy the last few days (as I'm sure you know from all the missed calls) but it seems to be working this morning. So if all goes well maybe all 4 of us can chat tonight. Well, all 6 I guess, since David and Jadyn usually have pretty important things to say. Anyway, if not tonight, sometime this weekend we'll have to talk.

Hey! Looking up your blog is my priority now! Are ya proud of me? Her suit is so cute. It is so fun to see her growing and changing so much. I noticed her little bald spot too. She just gets cuter and cuter every day!! Ted and Lori had their baby girl last Friday, Brooke Marie, 7 1/2 lbs. and 20 in. long. They are so happy. Talk with ya soon. Keep those pictures coming. SO cute! I can tell Jadyn is a natural little swimmer because she has great form in her little frog kick. Her smile gave it all away. Cody, I'm glad to see you're sporting your Thunderbird shirt for the video. And by the way, I love Jadyn's cute little suit.
