Jadyn turned five months old on Tuesday. She is growing so fast! She weighs approximately 15 pounds and is 25 inches long. I say approximately because the pediatrician here has a very scientific way of weighing her. They told me to hold her and step on the scale and then hand her off to the nurse and step back on. Mind you she was still fully clothed. Hilarious. Oh, and they didn't measure her. I had to measure her at home myself and then look up what percentile she is online. All it said is she is between the 50th and 75th for both weight and height. Good enough for me. Turns out her cousin, Lucy, who is three months older than her, is the exact same size--weight and length. Apparently Kristen produces short kids and I produce tall, so they meet in the middle. Do they look the same size to you?
Isn't Lucy a doll!? I just love her.
Jadyn has been moving around a lot lately. I will set her down in one position and then a few minutes later she has moved 90 degrees. Yesterday I put her on her tummy and she just started going. She got all the way around 180 degrees. Then today she did a 360. I only have the 180 degrees recorded though. It took her 12 minutes to do it, so in order not to bore you to death, I cut out A LOT of it. I tried to just keep the parts where she is actually moving, so hopefully it is not too choppy.

Those girls are so cute. They seem like the exact opposite. Lucy is short and dark, and Jadyn is tall and fair. How funny. But they are definitely both adorable! The part about your pediatrician made me laugh… it is crazy how things are so different around the world! Although I have to tell you about two weeks ago we weighed Mack your pediatrician “scientific style” and it said he was 17 pounds. So I am guessing that Jadyn is probably smaller then what they said, because Mack was really only 16.3 at the actual doctors weigh in. Don’t worry about her being as big as Lucy, there is a little girl in our ward that is four months older then Mack and he already out weighs her by 2 pounds!
Wow, I can't believe she is already moving so much. It is hard to imagine because I've never even seen her, but the videos help... Thanks! She is beautiful. I love Lucy's cute cheeks though!

Does Lucy look like 15 pounds, I don't. In fact she weighs just over 18. And she hasn't been measured in a while. So we don't know her height exactly.
Oh, good. I found it hard to believe that they were the same size and weight exactly! Kristen must have meant that is what she was at her last visit, not right now. I must have misunderstood her! Lucy is just so adorable!

Impressive. The mobility is starting, soon she will be rolling, then crawling...Yikes they grow so fast.
By the by, I wanted to apologize for not having a link to your blog on my blog anymore. In all the hustle and bustle of trying to get my "blog list" I missed putting your link on. Now, I can't update the stupid list anymore. I am trying to find out how. Anyway. Sorry again.

You make me want to get out of the box and try new things-you remind me of the conference quote "I can do hard things...but with the Lord's help I can do all things."
