Our last day in Hong Kong, Cody was working his last day and I was finishing up last minute errands. One was to stop by the apartment to make sure everything was in order. It was empty (except the landlord’s furniture) and ready to be left behind.
The wonderful Hawkins family, our dear friends, let us crash in their guest room for a couple nights. We had quite the load crowding up their place.
As the sun was rising early Saturday morning, June 1st, we hopped in a van to head to the airport.
We were happy to have our big girl’s help as we dragged our many, many bags to check in.
We lucked out and ended up at a gate near a play area. Score! Here is the difference between my two children. Jade went straight for the t.v. and Ridge found the blocks.
Then we were off! The children did great. The travel is always long, but with lots of toys, movies, and snacks, these kiddos did me proud once again!
These are the streets we left in Hong Kong. They are right outside our apartment building.
And this is where we ended up. This is the street outside my parents’ house in Utah. A bit of a difference eh?
