Two REALLY REALLY Great Happenings

1. My oldest sister, Charise, and I are both pregnant. Not only that, but we are due two days apart from each other. I'm due November 2nd and she is due November 4th. I mean, seriously. How cool IS that?! She is having a girl and I am having a boy. She lives just minutes from my mom's so I was able to spend lots of time with her while I was in Utah. I loved every minute of it.

We had fun with actually being together during our pregnancies... like going baby shopping.Honestly, who takes a picture in front of Babies R Us? A girl who doesn't live in America that gets to shop with her co-pregnant sister, that's who.

2. My parents surprised me (even if a few people can't keep their mouths shut) and flew my next oldest sister, Kristen, out from Maryland for a weekend. This was extra awesome because I had not physically seen her since Charise got married in March 2009! We skype a few times a month, but it just isn't the same. I actually surprised myself with how emotional I got when we picked her up from the airport. It was a sweet reunion. Here's a shout out to my awesome brother-in-law, Patrick, for staying home with their three kids for the weekend. He is such a great husband, dad, and BIL!!! Thank you, Patrick.

As this was the first time the seven in our family had been together in almost two and a half years, I insisted we document the occasion. Please notice my dad's popcicle in the picture. Nice one, Daaad. Also, isn't my brother handsome? He's single if you are wondering.Maybe one day we'll actually get the entire family together with all the husbands and kids... *sigh* one day.

We had an eventful weekend with all of us together. On Friday we went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. I swear that celestial room has the most beautiful chandelier I have ever seen.

To be accurate we actually joined my mom and her friends (who we love dearly) who go to the temple every Friday.
Once Becca could sneak away from work, she joined us at Leatherby's. Oh, if only I could get some of that right now. And I'm talking about the ice cream and the Becca.
Then my cute cousin, Jamie, came to visit. I think eight of us cousins are pregnant right now.
Saturday was the big day: we threw a big baby shower for Charise.
During the party Jadyn enjoyed helping Charise open presents and playing with her second cousins.
Would you believe Jade is only a few months older than that cute little Dyson on the left? She is SO tall!!
It was such a blast to see so many family and friends.

The neighborhood clan.

The wonderful--and always hilarious--Hofheins cousins!

The Jenkins and Aunt Susan (can you spot two more pregnant cousins?).
What a glorious weekend we had. Let's do it again soon, shall we family??!!

That is so much fun to be pregnant with a sibling! I am so glad you were able to visit home.

Have you guys decided on a name for Mr. Rowland?
