Jade can count to six!!! She did it for the first time a couple weeks ago; I was so excited! Then one Sunday during the bus ride to church, I told her to count the cars out the window to keep her entertained. A few days later as I was pushing her in the stroller, I heard her start counting, "one, two..." I looked down to see her pointing to the cars lining the street as she was counting. I love it!
It is that time of year when all the kiddies are terrified of the man in red. I don't think Jadyn will be any different. Though she does like our little Woof & Poof Santa and impersonating his "ho ho ho."
The model shoots seem to be more enjoyable to Jade now. They are more like play time, unlike the previous seasons where she just stared, trying to figure out who all the people were and what they were doing! At one point she wriggled away mid outfit change to play on the rocking horse she spotted hiding in the corner. They opted to just dress her right there.
Jadyn loves shoes, purses, jewelry, dancing, and MAKE-UP! In addition to seeing me put it on every day, she also gets it put on her when modeling. She understands very well what it is and where it goes. She loves to copy me, so I'll give her a cotton pad to dab her face with or let her play with my make-up brushes. Sometimes I'll see her wiping her hands across her face and realize she is imitating me applying foundation. A couple times she has even snuck into my bathroom and found my mascara. She knows exactly where it is supposed to go.
Stuffed animals and anything soft and/or fluffy are still all-time faves to my Jade Girl. She also loves running to and twirling for daddy when she is all dressed up. A friend gave her some hand-me-down rain boots, which have been great for hours of entertainment. She absolutely thrills over pulling them on and off and stomping around the house in them--whether or not they are on the right/wrong feet. And what kid isn't obsessed with playing at the park? Jade is so infatuated she has recently resorted to throwing tantrums when we leave. I sure do love the "woo, woo" sound and pucker lip face she always makes as she goes down the slide though.

Now this is my kind of post! I love it--all the little bits you want to remember, but don't really know where they fit into a blog story. That picture with Jadyn putting makeup on the lady's face is the cutest thing!
I watched the video of Jadyn modeling. Listening to that lady try to Christmas songs was pretty hilarious!

So my computer died about three weeks ago and so I haven't been able to get into the blogging world! I can not believe how big she looks! It is crazy how fast time goes! She is so stinking smart it makes me think Mack is delayed!!!! So maybe when you guys get here she can come and teach Mack some things! Also when I look at all the things you do it makes me think that I am delayed as well, so maybe you will teach me a few things when you get here!!!! We are counting down the days!!!!
