So she did this to get the wiggles out during our layover in San Fran before our 14 hour plane ride:
Our flight left around 4:30 p.m. CA time. Jadyn was not tired for a few hours. The lady in the seat next to us decided she didn't want anything to do with a baby on a long flight and asked to be moved to a different seat. Actually, she was very nice and wanted to let us spread out. She even came to check on us a few hours into the flight. Having two seats allowed us to make a little "play-room" on the floor for Miss Jade. We kept her entertained and occupied by looking out the window and playing with toys.
Jadyn eventually gave in and fell asleep, but I had to put her on my lap and turn on a movie. Whenever I got her relaxed and laid her in the baby bed, she rolled over, popped up on all fours, and tried to play with the posts on the bed. Silly girl. Long story short, she fussed a little here and there, but no big tantrums, and she probably slept 7 to 8 of the 14 hours in total. Not bad. I can't complain. But it was still a really long 24 hours. We arrived at the SLC airport around 9 a.m. Thursday morning Utah time and arrived home at about 9 a.m. Friday morning Utah time (midnight Taipei time).
Now back to fighting the jet lag...

I'm so glad you found me!!! It was so good to see you again! I had so much fun! I haven't laughed that hard in a long time! That is a long flight you had, and i'm so glad Jadyn did so well. Little miss Jadyn is such a cutie! I hope the jet lag goes away quickly! =)
You are a brave woman to do that flight alone! Wow, I am nervous about flying alone to UT, geesh, what a whimp I am! I am glad you got to go home for the Holidays!!!
OOps...the above comment is from me...not Tyler...but he thinks you are brave too.

You are brave for doing it on your own. I did it, too, when Maya was little. it was really hard because she was pretty fussy. I'm glad that Jadyn was good for you and that you had a great trip.
Nicole, you are the freaking champ! I can't imagine traveling 24 hours with an 8 month old alone. WOW! Miss Jadyn is SO CUTE! I can't believe she is only 8 months and standing and pushing that cart and everything, she is going to be walking soon, that is nuts. She is so cute and those pictures you guys got taken are fabulous. We just moved back to Utah, so if Winter is stationed in town, I may have to give her a call. Glad to see you guys are doing well and had a fun holiday!
I am so glad you all made it back safe and sound. It was so great to see you guys and have you here for the holidays!! Love ya.
Welcome back! How was the flight by yourself? I love your new pictures! Its good to be back, which was suprising to me.
It took Graham a full week ( of me being super consistent with his sleeping schedule) which sometimes required me to wake him up when he didn't want me to. :) Now he is back to normal...thank goodness.
Good luck.
I'm so glad you made it back okay and little Jadyn slept so much of the flight. It was so fun to see you, even though we never got to do our play date. Next time! :)
I am so glad that you made it back safe and that it went as well as it did! Thanks for the e-mail and the wish for a Happy Birthday! It was so fun to have you guys around!
You are amazing and so adventurous! I think I will stick to my 1 hour drives to Logan!! Glad she was a good girl, though, and that everything seems to be going good!!
