Ridge is smiling more and more. He loves when people look at him and talk to him. Even perfect strangers. He smiles at people in the elevator all the time. Just the other day Ridge kept smiling over and over at a humble little old Chinese man delivering food in our building. He made the man giggle with delight. It was quite sweet! I know he makes me feel like a million bucks every time he smiles at me this way!
Ridge is also starting to laugh more and more. He is quite ticklish! Sometimes he starts laughing when my fingers brush against his ribs and armpit as I’m changing his clothes. I have still been trying to capture his laugh on video, but it is quite elusive! After I grab the camera, he acts like he is no longer ticklish and just stares at the camera. I tried to get Jade’s help videoing once so I could tickle with two hands. It didn’t work too well. We actually did get him to laugh, but she hit the stop button as soon as it started (that and she is kind of loud and obnoxious)! ;)
Ridge got his first sunburn last week. We were spending an afternoon at Victoria Park and it turned out to be a warm, sunny, blue sky day. I didn’t even think about sunscreen when we left the apartment—it is February after all. Apparently shading him as much as possible wasn’t enough to protect his baby skin. I have deemed myself the worst mother ever! I felt terrible every time I looked at his pink cheeks. It has since peeled and healed—I pray for no lasting damage!!
One of our friends is letting us borrow her bouncer. Why has no one informed me of the miracle that is the bouncer sooner? He loves it! What a handy little seat to have around!
Jade still adores her baby… 
…maybe a little too much. She has started getting creative in the ways he can join in playing with her. 
Admittedly, I might be a little bit of an enabler. Maybe I want them to be able to play together just as badly as Jadyn does. And maybe I feel like Ridge should get use to having a big sister (and all that goes along with that). But maybe I just think the things Jadyn comes up with are hilarious. For the most part Ridge doesn’t seem to mind Jade’s antics anyway.

Look at that cute baby! I just want to snuggle him! I am glad to see how much Jade loves him. The pic of R in the stroller cracks me up because I found Luke in ours one day!
He is truly one handsome little guy! I think he looks a lot like you. Don't worry about the.sunburn either. I did the same thing when Makenzie was a baby.
What cuties! And I agree, Ridge should get used to being a sibling and all that that entails, including rides in doll strollers etc. The sooner the better.
In other news, Scarlett wants me to ask if you'll be her wet nurse. She wants whatever Ridge is having ;)

Ok Jadyn is so funny!! Seriously she makes me laugh! She is getting sooooooo big and Ridge is a little beast! He's so big too! and such a good sport!
He gets "Patient Brother of the Year Award"! I so wish we lived closer, a lot closer. Liv and Jadyn would be such good friends.
