Princesses for a Day

Tangled FINALLY came out in theaters here. I guess they waited for the big holiday (Chinese New Year) to release it. I told my mom we were going to take Jade to see it and she said, "that is one you have to let her wear her princess dress to." What a great idea! Especially because that is all Jade wears any more. At least around the house. As soon as she wakes up she comes in to have me help her remove her PJ top, then next thing I know, she is trotting around in this get-up:
And it has to be the complete ensemble: crown, gown, slippers, and wand. I'm sure the neighbors below us love her clomping around in her wood-heeled Chinese shoes at 6:30 a.m. everyday!!
Here she is all ready to go to the movie with her cute daddy! I think she was slightly excited.

Jadyn was thrilled about seeing a princess movie with a couple of her adorable friends! And I'm pretty certain Maleah and Nora shared her excitement. As soon as they saw each other, they gave hugs, held hands, giggled, and ran around together until we got them in the theater.
Of course the three of them had to sit by each other, and Jade was more than happy to share a seat with Maleah. I'm pretty sure I even spotted them holding hands during the movie. What little cuties!
All set with their 3-D glasses.
The girls enjoyed the show very much, and we parents loved watching their interactions with each other, as well as their reactions to the movie and 3-D objects. What a fun, fun day!!

That is the cutest thing I've ever seen. I can totally see them giggling, holding hands and running around. How fun and what a good idea to go with friends! Hm. We haven't seen it yet, but we may have to do that. SO cute.

That is so stinking cute Nicole!!! I should have let Kenzie and Maddie do that when we went to see it. They would have loved doing that. =)
