Several people at Nicole's work recommended taking a trip to Sedona while Cody was out of school. Sedona is about two hours north of Phoenix and is known for its red rocks and beautiful landscape. 
We decided it would be a great way to spend a Saturday. It was so nice to get outside, enjoy nature, and get some exercise! We had a picnic lunch, took a hike through West Fork of Oak Creek Canyon, and finished the day with homeade icecream. It was definitely a great way to use Cody's time off and a much needed break for both of us!
